About Me

I am currently a resident physician at the Stanford University Hospital in the pathology department.  In addition to my clinical duties in the hospital I am also member of the Stanford Physician Scientist Society (http://ssps.stanford.edu/), a cross disciplinary organization dedicated to advancing medical research. My particular research focus is elucidating methods to curate vast amounts of electronic medical data into an evidence based narrative that directs clinical decisions.  Prior to Stanford, I completed my MD and PhD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  I pursued my doctoral research in the labs of Drs. Aviv Bergman and Yousin Suh utilizing computational biology techniques to elucidate the role of epigenetics in aging.  Before medical school I was a software engineer at Ericsson Inc.  The largest (and best) development in my life is my recent engagement to the love of my life, we are planning our wedding for next October.
